Lora DeFries, Owner
New Harmony, IN native and self-proclaimed “foodie” Lora DeFries has had a love affair with food for as long as she can remember. Always at home in the kitchen and Inspired by her grandmothers recipes and travels around the globe, this Hoosier knew that if she was going to open a restaurant, and do it right, she would want it in New Harmony. A fan of cuisine ranging from vegetarian dishes to spicy Indian fare, Lora has what it takes to make a restaurant memorable… a love of food. A graduate of the University of Southern Indiana, and former pastry chef of Madeleine’s in Evansville, IN, Lora is now living, and sharing, her dream of owning and running a restaurant in her own hometown.

 

 

Eli Haddix, Manager
Originally from near Detroit, Michigan, Eli Haddix has happily adopted New Harmony as his home. A lover of food and people, Eli is a natural for restaurant life. “I love meeting people and I love food. This is a perfect fit for me. The best of both worlds.” Also a self-proclaimed “foodie”, and graduate of the University of Southern Indiana, Eli has been involved in restaurant management for over ten years. Now living his dream, he is happy to inspire others through his food.
